What a great few days....Cant say how good it was but i going to try..

Had a few troubles with my BMW touring on the way but once there

Weather was scourtichio....

4 days off trackday fun,Never got to take my car round but meet up with a few people from milton Keynes..

One an Ex Stock car World champion (Mike Wilkinson)Now this man is 63 and had an old D reg 325i BMW

And i got to take it out round the ring and lapped 10mins 20 secs which i was well please with...

then he took me round ..What a driver!!!

We done a 9 minute 32 second lap and only a pink 911 and a bike over took us..

This is a standard car with a 4.1 diff and he was on the rev limiter for @ least 20 seconds!!

He is going for the lap record in a mk1 escort which is 8 mins 47 secs(Held by Zakspeed)

He will be doing this,this year in his N/A cosworth powered Mk1 Escort

And i think he has every chance..cant say how good this man can drive..fearless but under countrol all the time..

if he get the record he will be given a new 13k engine from cosworth

Karting including Mike.I only went and won....Did a lap of 33.237

Yes this big old heavy guy was the winner..

All i can say is You all have to get there next year

It is a car nuts Heaven,And some lovely cars there as well

Just got back from there at the weekend with the classic Ford Trip to the mosel valley. I just wish it was for a week , its absolutely stunning there.
