old skool freestyler Posted June 24, 2007 Author Report Posted June 24, 2007 do you need to modifie the arches at all to get them under??? but i like 4spokes alot
Wessie Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 front arches need cutting back, the wheels need machining on the back and you cant run discs with the standard axle on the back
old skool freestyler Posted June 24, 2007 Author Report Posted June 24, 2007 thats cool im not running discs on the back but think im gona look in to doing that looks
Wessie Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 thats cool im not running discs on the back but think im gona look in to doing that looks if your only running a 1200/1500 its really un-necessary for discs on the back ideally youd need a bias pedal box in order to set the brakes up effectivly. just rebuild the rear brakes well and there should be no problems
old skool freestyler Posted June 24, 2007 Author Report Posted June 24, 2007 yep only running 1200 atm but i want one of those pedal boxes for when i put a hot cross flow in it (got to wait for inscurance to go down) so it should be ok to run them wheels on drums on the back???
Wessie Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 cant see a reason why not, but its personal preference, but on a 'lower' performance (e.g.1200) lightweight anglia rear discs will just cause you to face the wrong way if not set up right, the average cars breaking is about 70front/30back and the main reason f1 cars have rear wings is to keep the rear wheels on the ground under heavy braking so big rear brakes are not always the best option
old skool freestyler Posted June 24, 2007 Author Report Posted June 24, 2007 ive only got the standard one on the rear but on the front im gona prob run modified milton ones of just get a disc conversion for the front which ever i can afford at the time
Wessie Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 or some mk2 tina legs that i've got . . . . . .
old skool freestyler Posted June 24, 2007 Author Report Posted June 24, 2007 i got some for free the outher day got them of my stepdads cortina but ill buy the inserts you have and what ever outher bits you have to make them fit
Admin Vista Posted June 24, 2007 Admin Report Posted June 24, 2007 I'm surprised no-ones posted up a pic of Waynes car yet. I have to say I wasn't an Anglia fan at all until I saw this, now I'm a convert as I think this looks the business!
old skool freestyler Posted June 24, 2007 Author Report Posted June 24, 2007 ummmm like it alot but i have decided to keep it on standard arches
