caprifan Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 ...would a thou make a difference on the parallel plane of a brake disc... just asking as 1 is different by a thou and the other a bit more.....I know its like the thickness of a hair or something but would it cause the violent wheel wobble i'm getting on braking....they are big 283 x24 discs...
negri Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 if you are getting it only when braking then the disks are more than likely the culprit . does the wobble come right up through the steering wheel ?
Pipster007 Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 If the hubs are slightly out, then they may add to the feel of a warped disc. I know what capri's are like. I ended up changing my hubs in the end aswell as new discs and poly bushes in the TCA's, plus also getting the steering rack refurbished all in order to get rid of brake shake
