davreeve Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 I must say firstly that this happened 11 years ago and not recently. I spent three months of evenings and weekends rebuilding a mk2 2dr for my mother .Once it was mot,d she picked it up at around lunchtime on a wednesday .She came out thursday morning to go to work to find it missing. It was found 2 days later burned out about thirty miles away. BUMMER.
Guest cortinamad-gonetoo Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 King tossers my mk2 escort got stolen on new years eve 2006 never seen it since
Copey Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 King HATE car theives, its sad when any car gets stolen, but when its a classic and you have spent lots of time, money and effort restoring her, only for it to be robbed and fooked up must be heartbreaking
Yeomans22 Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 u can replace a new car easily with exactly the same but u wont find to many mk2 tht are identical as bits get changed over the years, sad to hear it was taken even after all this time still annoys you.
Muggy Bonehead Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 Its such a shi**y thing to do, old cars are gonna have the sentimental value too so burning it out is like a big kick in the plums. I'd love to know where all the nicked OSF's are hiding. A mate of a mate had his beige mk2 van nicked off a driveway in Moreton road croydon around late 03. it was a well tidy example that he was gathering parts to RS it; im reckoning someone already had the bits and beat him too it using his shell. Scummers!!!
Rack Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 I only had mine for 2 months, was still collecting parts
