Mick The Cabbie Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 .....and FOUR WHEELS FOUR TYRES 4 FREE or are the minilights just a clever paint trick wiv masking tape & the left overs from the rattle can?!
RFChris Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 .....and FOUR WHEELS & FOUR TYRES 4 FREE or are the minilights just a clever paint trick wiv masking tape & the left overs from the rattle can?! They were from morleys personal stash. He likes to hoard things....besides, we were over budget enough! If we had to buy the wheels and tyres we'd be stuffed! Keen eye though fella, keen eye.
johnny_h Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 I spotted that too (just in case you were worried I hadn't) To be honest though Ben could probably build a complete track day car just from his personal stash in his magic shed!

In a Homer Simpson stylee..... ......mmmmmmm, maaaagic shed. gargglargharghlargh
RFChris Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 Chris- do some work!!! No....thats why you're here....now go and make the tea.
mk2_escort_chick Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 Morley isn't here- so my tea making services are not required! How comes no-one in our "tea circle" has offered to make the tea??
Mick The Cabbie Posted July 19, 2007 Author Report Posted July 19, 2007 dear o' dear, I can see now how details get missed in the mag..
RFChris Posted July 19, 2007 Report Posted July 19, 2007 dear o' dear, I can see now how details get missed in the mag.. Sorry about that. It's tricky to keep track of everything when attempting to build a track beastie in less than a week. Plus, they were nothing special, they were just wheels that Morley had kicking about. If they had cost anything we would have included them. Y'know how it is with these old fords, with time one seems to aquire things...a full garage's worth in my case and a giant shed in Morleys! Bloody cars.
Mick The Cabbie Posted July 20, 2007 Author Report Posted July 20, 2007 Hey, it's cool. I think you guys do an absolutely sterling job with the mag and with both the style and the content, I'm sure it can only encourage the scene to flourish and grow ever bigger in the future! It must be great to be working in such an enviroment. Obviously a tea filled office is a happy office
RFChris Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 Indeed. Glad you like the mag! Seriously though, sorry about the wheel omission! Chris
