Hi,

I've got a '73 Aussie Fairlane in Ford Daytona Yellow. The previous owner had an aversion to washing/polishing cars. I'm trying to build the colour back up as it had got a little dull.

Do you have any recommendations on what products/polishes I should be using?

Cheers,

Dave.

Try some Autoglym paint renovator...

Its not as harsh as something like T Cut.

OR..

if you are feeling flush then the Meguiers stuff is superb, they do a 3 stage polish 'system' and they also have something similar to AutoGlyms Paint Renovator which helps take off the oxidisation.

Dont go mad though it would be easy to go through the paint if its not on that thick or is painted in cellulose.
