Bumper Irons on mk1 escort

Having major trouble getting the rear (and prob the front when i try) bumpers to fit right. the corners just end up pointing up rather than horizontal. Just wondering if any one has any advice or photos of theirs?? Cheers

Have you got any pics of the ones you are trying to fit m8? as the front ones are smilier to the rears?

Rear brackets looking up from underneath. Think they need to have a section cut out of them to turn the head down a bit

 

These are the brackets for the front.

It looks like they need a bit of loving with a hummer So of the pattern one are shite m8 i had the same problem

The little brackets with the 3 bends are for the 1/4 bumper ends I think

Tap of a hammer looking like easiest solution alright. To make matters worse the front lamp brackets are fouling the front irons too... Its never easy! Cheers for the advice folks, much appreciated. Now wheres the lump hammer...
