Plane spotters

Ive just got back from gatwick airport i had to stop around the corner for a lash and looked over to my right and saw about 5 people with telescopes and binoculars watching planes with pads etc whats the score?Do they get cheap flights lol

I see them at heathrow all pitched up on a grass verge deck chairs, telescopes and cameras. And they say us classic car enthusiasts need help!!!!!

 

Pass my anorak i feel a jumbo jet moment coming on.

Don't really see the point at somewhere like gatwick or heathrow.

 

'oooh it's a 747, oooooh it's another 747, oooooh its a 737'

 

 

But classic and military aircraft I could watch for hours.
