Good luck with the Scimitar project fella. My current Scimitar was also a barn find and I’ve owned it for about a year now. I used to own the orange one pictured above until I sold it to my old man and brought the green one. I think Scimitars a bit Marmite you either love them or hate them. I’ve always loved my Fords but I’ve got to admit the Scimitars are great fun and they love going sideways! My one was in quite a mess when I brought it, but it so cheap I had to have it. I’ve spent the last few months restoring and modifying it which includes a full service, complete brake overhaul, new wheels and tyres, custom exhaust system and a re-spray. If you need any advice on the project give me a shout.

Totally gutted for you fella. This kind of thing makes me so fecking angry! These little shits just don’t think about what they’re doing. They’re not just destroying someone’s car they’re also destroying all the time, effort and love put into the build. I only hope that once they become old enough to be able to drive that their little pride and joy gets burnt out too so that they can experience the feelings you’re going through!

The more people that communicate and are made aware about these stolen classic the more chance we have of seeing them returned to their rightful owners. Jo I'll PM you my details ASAP.

I accidently removed a wing mirror from a jag once in a pub car park. The fooker parked so close to my car that I couldn’t even squeeze between them to open the driver’s door. So he left me with no option other than to create some space between them so that I could gain access to my car. That was one expensive pub lunch he won’t forget!

So sorry to hear about your cat mate. It sickens me that some people seem to have a total disregard for an animal’s life. I’m sure the dog owner would have been gutted if his dog had been mauled to death and he probably would have wanted justice. Because of the dog owners attitude to the whole incident it would be “eye for and eye” in my book. Fooking low life scum!
