Copey Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 i have been gettin loads of quotes for a custom made stainless steel twin exit exahust system straight through to the back boxes, it all originally atarted when a rip off con man(not even kwik-fit!!) said a new standard steel single exit would cost about £300, so i thought, how much could i get a stainless twin for?? after shoppin about and going through stupid quote after stupid quote, one being £1500!! a mate from work said his friend would do it, went to see him, said it would cost £200-£250, i thought, damn, thats pretty good!! phoned me up to tell me, its gonna cost£130 how awesome is that!!!

Copey Posted July 24, 2007 Author Report Posted July 24, 2007 mates rates, he has gotten the pipe in bulk so its cheaper, coz a lot of people wanted things doing, so he charged the rest of the people standard rate for the pipe, to lower the price for me
Copey Posted July 24, 2007 Author Report Posted July 24, 2007 also got some back boxes, 2"Stainless Steel pipe but using a special plastic coating and polymer insides basically upto 4kilos lighter than a metal back box the same size http://www.poly-zhaust.com/default.htm got 2 for £65 my dads friend who works for BMW recomended them, said he has seen them used quite a bit mainly in racing, but he put some on his sons 1.2 fiesta and said it seemed to improve things a lot and gave a nice throughty roar...from a 1.2 so 2 on a nice 2.0 Capri
