caught the mr sam bug, decided to strip the fezza today in preparation for silverstone on sunday, wish i hadn't bothered now :roll:

 

here's she as she is now;

that'll why the seats didn't feel right :roll:

 

question is, do they inspect at ford fair before the racing? if so, that carpet's going back in :lol:

i'll get my brother to weld it up, that's not a problem, he just may not be able to do it tomorrow :?

 

i do know what you mean retro about safety first and all that :thumbsup:

tbh, it's the passenger one that's bad, the driver's isn't that bad in comparison, the missus refuses to go in the car anyway, so i'll just not take passengers till it's fixed :mrgreen:

mine was like that when i pulled the carpet out, patched up with the casing off an old video machine :lol:

 

 

oh and ive swept mine out properly and given it a lick of paint now, looks loads better

 

 

and why have you got door cards :roll:

why not just rip the dash out and have a sheet of metal with a few quages :mrgreen:

naaaahhh metal it too heavy, just get a bit of fiberglass in ther!

They dont check the cars as such, all they have done in the past is check to see that you have removed all loose objects from the car, which in this case could be your seats :lol::lol::lol:

fiberglass pannel?? why do you need to set gadges in something.... just bolt them to the A pillar

yeah, i think on the driver's side i'll stick some steel plates over it and bolt it in, it'll do till my bro can fix it next week
