bomber1 Posted August 5, 2007 Report Posted August 5, 2007 im changing the steering rack tca's and arb bushes. ive got the tca's off as well as the arb. htf do u get to the top steering rack bolts without pulling the engine out? is it a case off undoing the engine mounts and jacking the the engine up to get the clearence? the only time ive done a rack on a escort up to yet was when the engine was out and i dont fancy un doing the x-member unless its a last resort any help/advice much apreciated thanks
Conor Posted August 5, 2007 Report Posted August 5, 2007 Buy some decent tools. 3/8ths drive UJ for the socket set or ratchet spanner with swivel head.
