lee_capri Posted August 19, 2007 Author Report Posted August 19, 2007 only need to run 250bhp maybe 300bhp no more than that any-ideas would be usefull but every-one tells me i need a 105 axle do have a capri one with lsd which can take the horses but its getting it narroed down to suit

kev16v Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 i used to have a 105e with a 16v xe in it it had 252 bhp an i use to a standerd axle with a plate type lsd it ran a 13.1 @108 mph standerd axle standerd shaft's 7k launch's out the box one of the strongest axle's i ever had.
steve dray Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 I've got a standard 105E axle case in mine with quaife shafts and a 4.1 diff with a quaife ATB, been bullet proof so far. The standard axle is very strong cos it is narrow

It looks pretty mean too. It was fitted on last night to mock up where the caliper brackets need to be welded to
