antz Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 only EVER DONE IT ONCE! and that was the high bidder has -1 feedback with 5 misn to go so i told my mate to outbid him and ill offer it to the person below...sounds mean i know but it was £70 and i didnt want the hassle of non payers!
Chris! Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 i never bid my own items up, its not fair on thw winning bidder.............how would you like it if someone did it to an item you really wanted
ALL4SHOW Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 seen a few people ask other forums mebers to do it (not here) & my mate asked me to do it on one of his items & i won it but it was more to get his feedback rating up when he first started using it
MK5 Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 i never bid my own items up, its not fair on thw winning bidder.............how would you like it if someone did it to an item you really wanted we actually agree on something
bortaf Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 Never If i want a certain amount i start it at that price, simple, fair and IMHO the way it should be, don't see the point of getting a mate to bid cos they will probably win it then somone on a baord like this will notice the same item is back up for sale then the next thing you know your ebay name is mud and you can't sell a thing (seen it happen many many times on forums like this, usually followed by either a change of ebay name of they leave and start again)
