100e help

[Nettles]

As some of you already know we recently brought a Popular 100e for Mrs Nettles. The plan is to finish my sit up and beg project first and then start work on the 100e.

We’ve decided to go with a 1600 X-flow lump but I’m not entirely sure what other modifications to make. I’ve been told to fit a rear 105e Anglia rear axle because it’s narrower that the standard 100e axle but every thing else I’m unsure of.

Can anyone tell me what the usual mods are and what parts I should be putting down on the shopping list.

We’re not looking at building a track car because Mrs Nettles wants to eventually use it as her daily driver and she only does about 20 miles a day.

 

Post this up in the 100e/105e room but did'nt get much of a response.

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
