MEXY867M Posted August 26, 2007 Report Posted August 26, 2007 thinkin of anti tramping my van, been lookin at the kits that rally design do but what is the difference between the angled and straight ones, and which one would be best (maybe be silly question but curiousity)thanks.DARREN
Jay_harrier Posted August 26, 2007 Report Posted August 26, 2007 I hate tramps too... of no use for your query though...
Smudger105e Posted August 26, 2007 Report Posted August 26, 2007 Been looking at them for my Anglia, I reckon (could be wrong) that the angled ones (A frame type) would help stop sideways axle movement where the straight ones would not help as much in this respect.

Mr Sam Posted August 26, 2007 Report Posted August 26, 2007 i was thinking about buying a kit but looking under some of the OSFDC's competitor cars no one seems to have them them
1558 Posted August 26, 2007 Report Posted August 26, 2007 If you have Mk2 van you will still need early Mk1 anti tramp bars, ie the straight type.
MEXY867M Posted August 26, 2007 Author Report Posted August 26, 2007 So I definatley need the straight one`s then, would it be best to get a proper company to weld them on or is it easy enough for me to do,any Ideas how much it would cost if any of you have had this done.DARREN
