Just a few pic from wimbledon mainly in the pits,some very nice cars there, cant really see the point of the formula as they seemed to worried about scratching them,but as they say its your money do as you please with it

Hi,

do you not think there was some great racing, you cannot beat the sound of the old cars, I drive the Status Quo mk1 escort pace car and as you say there are some other very nice cars there.

 

And as for the point of them, the formula is 100% charity based all prize money and any collection money all goes to charity. So basically these guys build and maintain these cars at great expense for no return other than to have a bit of fun, see the smiles on the spectators faces and to raise money for charity.

hi, i do think the cars sounded good and looked the part and its nice of them to give the money away but i just didnt rate the racing. if you compare it to the other hot rod races they were much more interesting to watch, much closer racing and most of these drivers dont make any money out of the racing as it is just a hobby. i have seen the build up of your car and it looks great but the racing doesnt do it for me.
