Nick Mexi-cos Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 Just found this Craigs Old engine Old add somewhere Its fresh off the dyno(pete knights) and has got some big power and runs on carb's. The figures are as follows- 296 BHP @8400 and rev's to 9000, 199.9 lb/ft @7000. This engine is a complete package with all you need to put it straight in. It comes with - a full tuned exhaust system, mapped ign system, dry sump pump, ultra light flywheel, 5" twin plate clutch and of course the twin weber 50 dcoe's. This engine was built by John Edwards at jems race engineering and is the most powerfull n/a cosworth YB he has done, you will not be disapointed.

Guest MK1gaz Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 It's an all alloy 2.5 litre 16v pinto millington diamond engine . I would love to see one go in a proper oldskoolford street car (even if i have to do it )

I would love to see one go in a proper oldskoolford street car (even if i have to do it ) When my cousin was living in wales and well into his grasstrack a local lad got fed up and sold his car and bought a MK2 and fitted one for night rallying. Took my cousin out and he came back saying thats the fastest car he's been in for a long time. And it only had a single 48!!!!
