MadMark2 Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 Is there anyway i can tell if the pinto i got has an unleaded type head without taking it all apart ? ? It came from a Kit car so i dont know the age of the original car it came from . Couldnt see any markings on the head but its deffo a 205 block. Any ideas ?

MadMark2 Posted October 22, 2006 Author Report Posted October 22, 2006 I didnt see any markings on the head....... it has got the original pierburg carb still on it so im guessing its out of a early-mid eightys cortina / sierra. So probably not an unleaded one...

bortaf Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 87 on pinto where unleaded, even some early EFi where leaded so check the code These are the markings you need to look for and this is where they are (bleeding hard to see)
