bmxdave Posted October 28, 2007 Report Posted October 28, 2007 Get one. If you work in the 'trade' i.e. machinics or engineering or fitting, take a recent payslip, and a form of ID (i used my drivers liscence card) and bingo, great discounts. And it takes the fraud out of halfrauds too. Example. Yesterday i decided i didnt have a battery charger. So off i went to halfords. They had three or for differnt types. First was for up wo 1200c engines, costing £22. Next was up to 1800cc costing £27. Next up, the 1800cc plus and diesel, Costing £33. I thought it best to buy the diesel one, as you never know what your going to need to charge. So im ready to dish out about £30 after the discount from the card, but fook me (not literally though), £21. Cheaper then the 1200cc charger. Cant complain with that.

Danmex Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Does any engineering count? I'm an aircraft engineer don't know if that counts
bmxdave Posted October 29, 2007 Author Report Posted October 29, 2007 Cant see why not. You do afterall need to buy tools.
