Wish i still had my mk1 rs,i could just take the 400bhp engine out of my escort cossy and lash it in.

 

Doesn't the cossy motor look sweet in a mk1 escort.

 

Love to know what one went like cus my cossy is fxxkin rapid.

 

I can just imagine it now rwd ,light body, etc

 

ooooooooooohhh what fun...

Yes but Puddy's broke durring his maiden voyage of quarter mile so it's possible, and I'm not sure :wink: he's taking the p!ss :lol:

 

Also Puddy's car is set up to not grip! :lol::lol:

well i picked it up today & couldnt resist a trial fit

fitted straight onto my wcxm mounts & the standard sump cleared the wcxm

looking at a reliable 280bhp?? engine is ment to be good for 400bhp but my back axle aint :wink:

had a play with the mk1 rs rad & cossie cooler & other pipework 2nite

thinking of useing a new rs rad with the standard cossie coole mounted under slam pannel behind grill????? what u reckon?

Mine had a standard rad with the 2wd intercooler sat on top,work fine

Have you trimmed the bulkhead?worth it while the engine is out just to give you that little bit extra clearance

was urs a standard cossie rad of a standard mk1 rad??

 

looks a mission to get the cossie rad to fit & dont fancy cutting all of my rad support panels out after they cost me about £160! :?
