I've just been on the phone to BT for well over an hour (45 mins on hold) to find out why I'm being charged for 2 phone lines at 2 different addresses. I got some non english speaking muppet who put me through to another department (the wrong one I might add) who then directed me back to the first department. This time I got an english bird who I could understand

It appears on my bill that I am still paying for the number I had when I lived at home. I moved out of there in April and my brother took the number on as his own. BT then cut him off for 6 months with no apparent reason and my dad contacted some bod high up with his complaint. They have reconnected him with my account number but his name and address. Because I wanted to save a fooking tree I went for the paper free option so I still get the email. So I look online to find my bill sat there waiting for me. £168.49.......you're having a fooking laugh

Since then my brother has had Sky Broadband set up and is happy with his new found internet freedom. BT now tell me that they have to disconnect him again and he has to phone up for connection and he has to get hold of Sky to tell them the good news!

I did ask the english speaking bird if whoever set the accounts up, ever did get their fingers out their arse, but she said she couldn't comment

I'm sooooo MAD and now I have to wait for some manager chappy to phone me later to tell me what their gonna do about said lash up
