Anyone know these seats?

Seen these at a couple of autojumbles they look bad on their own but I think they would look the nuts in a terracota car i seen them in a brown rather than black

This particular model of Recaro seat was never fitted as standard equipment in a full production car.

The 200 run SWB Audi Sport Quattro was fitted with them although with suede+ leather trim, different head restraints & without the electrics.

During the 1980's, some of the more upmarket German car tuners fitted em. The likes of Zender and GTi Engineering used em. I've still got an original & very glossy 200page Zender brochure from the mid 80's featuring some very nicely uprated motors. Also gotta GTi Engineering one too amongst many others
