105Nick Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 What you got? My folks got a 1970 SIIA - but wih the front end of a series III - it were one of the changeover models so it's still got the steel dash. Looking a bit ropey now the poor old thing but ah well one day when we can afford a new chassis/bulkhead
Messenjah Posted October 31, 2006 Author Report Posted October 31, 2006 got a 110 its a 1990 so its still a 110 but its the year it became the defender ...
105Nick Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 Pah - not old skool mate try OSLR not too much differene I guess other than the springs though.
deluxe Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 thought all landys after the series had a centre diff instead of the on/off you find in tractors. So when you remove one of the prop shafts, all the power would try to go to the end not connected and the 4x4 turns into a 0x4 and not a 2X4
