Mr Sam Posted December 8, 2007 Report Posted December 8, 2007 im just using a distributor off a late mk2 fiesta as they were electronic few wires to splice and dice, set your timing then all you need do is change the rotor arm/dizzy cap as and when

R1.Andy Posted December 9, 2007 Author Report Posted December 9, 2007 i will find info i found and sort out i got to brand new bosh dizzy's cos i think i got the wrong one. then a coil from a cosworth cos thats wot i was told i needed for a stronger spark i aint sure of donor car bits was selected from im suew it was the mk3 escort with the x flow block could have been fiesta now watch i bet my post gets edited again for swearing iv got a mk1 cortina and im running a x flow in it
over_head_cam Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 The cossie coil is a 12 volt jobbie instaed of a ballast resisted 9v I think but any 12v coil will work I'm not 100% sure of the exact wiring but I'm positive someone will be able to let you know
