planet and plate type lsd

whats the diferance in the planet and plate type lsd

is 1 better than the other

is 1 cheaper than the other

how can i tell the diferance between the 2

and how can i recognise them when i go to look

i no the 2 wheels have to turn the same way if its a lsd axle

but just want to make sure before i part money

looks like an ordinary open standard differential to me.

The axle in that listing aint got an LSD. That's just a standard open diff.

Q: Hi Looking at the pictures you have posted that is not an lsd unit Nige

A: Hello Nige. This is the standard 2.8 Special differential, which offeres a limited slip transfer of about 30%. Sorry for any confusion.

this is a plate style tran-x lsd and here is the ad on ebay ok its got a 5.3 cwp but that can be changed
