bmxdave Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 It turns out i havnt killed a halfshaft. Its actually the diff. It wasnt noisey or clunking on the way home and i couldnt hear any bits clunking around. Took both shafts out and theyre ok. Is this a mk1 cortina diff? Which would make it an english axle? What gear ratio would you recomend? Im using a type 9 5 speed but id like a few less revs then im using now on the motorway. Not sure what ratio it is now but it standard mk1 cortina 1500gt ratio.
