jimbo Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 Can anyone recommend somewhere/someone who has the magic combination of access to parts catalogues (or microfiche) for Mk2 Escorts and willingness to help someone out. I'm thinking along the lines of a Ford dealer with a helpful parts department, but if you know anyone else who fits the bill, that'll do nicely.
jimbo Posted December 17, 2007 Author Report Posted December 17, 2007 Whether a 1300 x-flow auto uses the flexplate as the 1600 x-flow auto
jimbo Posted December 19, 2007 Author Report Posted December 19, 2007 It goes eerily quiet when you start talking about auto transmission parts........ Shameless BUMP! Anyone know the answer?I'll take educated guesses if need be
bmxdave Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 Id expect it to. If it used the same box and its pretty much the same engine bar capacity, and the fluid flywheel / tourque converter or whatever it is on those is the same, then i couldnt see ford putting a different one in.
bortaf Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 I would say yes as they are the same on the pintos (1.6 and 2.0) but didn't want to say a deffo yes and cost ya money
