ann_capri Posted December 21, 2007 Report Posted December 21, 2007 needs a new dizzy cap for starters, and you night want to replace the rotory arm looking at the cap
Mr Sam Posted December 21, 2007 Author Report Posted December 21, 2007 lol read the text ann (allready done both of them) its not giving much of a spark off the coil so gonna try a different coil but i cant feel my fingers
ann_capri Posted December 21, 2007 Report Posted December 21, 2007 try the ht lead as well, and check your high and low tentions and clean the conections as they can cause a weak spark
Mr Sam Posted December 21, 2007 Author Report Posted December 21, 2007 high and low tensions?? ive fitted a different dizzy and earther the king lead and its arking loads better bjut still not firing so could be the amplifier on the dizzy, might try some different HT leads
V8ian Posted December 21, 2007 Report Posted December 21, 2007 one to try, plugs out, Ill bet they are soaking wet, dry them off, or better still another set, take the filter off and wedge the choke open, and turn the engine over without the plugs in, refit plugs, still with the choke wedged open see if it will start WITHOUT using the throttle
ann_capri Posted December 21, 2007 Report Posted December 21, 2007 have you got a spark at the coil with out the ht lead if so put the ht lead back on but not to the cap and see if you have a spark, because it could be the lead breaking down which would cause the same problum, you could try putting more earth's on to it,when im haveing this sort of problum i earth from the battery to the nearest point on the dizzy might help, you can never have to many earth's :thumbsup:also have you got any go go juice in it sound's daft but i have donr this my self befor reliseing
