atomic-cortina Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 Thought I would make some models of my dads Cortinas! Started with the Grey one: Taken apart Primer Interior Finish coat Put back together, et voila! Then made the estate. blah blah blah...Lowered them both! Finished! Gave the estate a roof rack! Then I was given this pyramid so stuck em all together into this. Voila! What do you think?
DAZZA Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 Great job and you actually beat me to it. Bought an estate to do just that car!!! Well done
atomic-cortina Posted December 24, 2007 Author Report Posted December 24, 2007 Saw you're thread, nice find mate Love doing these models now, made this Anglia too last night, got the wheels off a model Limo. I had it lower before on some Superlites off a Mini but It looked too fake and I got bored with it so......

nmonkey220 Posted January 7, 2008 Report Posted January 7, 2008 lot of work went in to these looking good think we should do some of ours...what is the best thing to use for rust??? or should i leave them in the sink for a couple of days!?
atomic-cortina Posted January 23, 2008 Author Report Posted January 23, 2008 Thanks guys, you can buy a rust effect paint in "The Range" Bit pricy though. Better off leaving it in the sink for a bit!
Daggle Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 You make it sound very easy, they are great
