Future spec, Zetec engine either 1.6, 1.8, or 2.0 Full black interior Uprated brakes and suspension, (maybe) corsa power steering set up Rs2000 speedo I don't really know what parts are best when it come to brakes and suspension, i dont have loads to spend but i have enough to get a nice upgrade. any help will be appreciated. Yeomans22 Posted January 2, 2008 Author Report Posted January 2, 2008 yeah i heard the power steering thing wasn't that good, i quite like the idea of the 1.6 zetec se engine, with a set os ss4 cams, can see 150bhp with tht, and its lighter than a 2.0. also how much power can a standard diif and prof shaft take? I have no idea what banded is anyone got a pic?

Copey Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 basically they cut the rims in half along the diameter, then weld in a strip of metal to make the wheels wider so it would look exactly as it does now, just wider, so it will look totally standard and no1 will have a clue its got a powerfull engine under the bonnet, give a guy called James P a PM, he will give you more info
Yeomans22 Posted January 2, 2008 Author Report Posted January 2, 2008 yeah i got it from cossie350anglia on here he kept the wheels but i got the car so i was happy. the plate is worth about £1000, its a shame but i expect this will be sold once the car is MOT'd to pay for more parts. That banded wheels sounds quite good, i like the other standard steel rims tht i think were on the mexico so if i did i would get them banded.

herb capri Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 cheap brake mod can be dead cheap and an improvment ,but not so pretty ,one is rear rums and backplates of a 3.0 capri ,some ones bound to be goig disc. land rover master cylinder,easy swap plent cheap, and i think you dont hav much ov a servo but a nice bit o help for it can be a stronger servo vaacum pipe ,little things can add up BUT THEY ARE NOT SHOW UPGRADES ..THESE ARE STOP UPGRADES

Will do what drop should i got for, its all totally standard, but i dont want any rubbing etc, ive also got a set a capri lazer wheel which i want to swap around, so i don't want them to rub either, I was thinking 1.5inch drop????
