Where would you recommend as a good place for a break over the Xmas Holidays to get out of this country ..... either snowy (not skiiing) or hot ... 2 adults, 2 small kids?????

I've always fancied going to New York in November, but how about going to Finland or Lapland? I was there a few years ago (Helsinki) to do with work for a couple of cold March days. It was great. I ate reindeer...

one of the canary islands, id say playa de las americas in tenerife but, fueterventura, grand canaria and lanzarote will be ok 2.
