rob-loves-osf Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 hi all as a few may know i love oldskoolford and classic cars and love classy fords!! but ! i really really liked my mk1 fiesta i had even though i never even drove the thing i liked working on it! and its so simple but! as im 16 in april and going for my lessons in december this year - early lessons lol my parents want me to get a 4x4 safety issue but to be honest if i run in to anyone-innevitable as i will be a new driver i dont want to be the cuase of a death! but the car they want me to have is either a frontera -any engine and year -as the insurance isnt toobad or the ford maverick - i dont like the look and too jappy inside and well i really really want another mk1 fiesta or even the mk1 escort but only having 1k its going to end up being the m1 fiesta but they have said they dont want another rusted jallopy on the drive! but im going to be the one driving if i buy a solid rust free-brand new mk1 lol what would you say? rob
davreeve Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 You should get a good low spec mk1 Fezz for a grand and i beleive it would make a far better first car than a frontera.
rob-loves-osf Posted January 12, 2008 Author Report Posted January 12, 2008 well i would too -all i want from life is my own decisions! lol even though i can afford the insurance on a frontera and running it whats the point when i love osf's and getting one eventually anyways? just get one to begin with! lol cheers rob
davreeve Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 You,ll have to sit your parents down and tell them in a nice way that this is how its going to be.(keeping violence to a minimum of coarse )
