zetecvan2.0 sounds like you would love a monty!!it was trials that put an end to my trials dabble. 5 foot drop off i used to do regularly (on the way to get leccy) one day my steerer snapped on landing!!! face plant into concrete and a lot of blood, teeth, gravel etc!!! i replaced forks and did it again the next day. (mustnt let these things beet you)! landed perfectly but never did it again. something in my head just switched!!!!

 

I had a front wheel drop off when I wheelied off a kerb once. Not exactly a 5 foot drop, but the forks dug in the tarmac, I went over the handle bars and scraped the skin off one side of my face. I was a bit more cautious after that.
