Oilcooler help needed please.

I´ll be fitting an engineoil and seperate gearbox oilcooler in the van.

 

I´ll need to "extend" the original hosing by about 3ft. Can i just add a bit of piping and reconnect the hosing with jubilee clips? Can jubilee clips hack the pressure?

 

Or am i just a tight old barsteward and should do it properly and have some hoses made up?

Did the scorpio have them on Dave or are you just going all bufty on us

The original Scorpio rad has an integrated engine oil cooler in it already and the gearbox has a seperate cooler too. My new/secondhand radiator is second hand F1 and doesn´t have an oilcooler in it.

 

So not going bufty(whatever that means! ) just don´t want to cook it while burning up the strrip pulling my trailer......(want the first sub 20 sec.!/4 mile whilst towing)

 

The oilcoolers will be optically hidden underneath and not fitted on top of the front bumper
