Phil.....i think the general opinion would be....ahem....SCRAP IT! :lol:

 

....i have a nice claibrqa up for sale. I've put 4500 miles on it in 3 months and its not skipped a beat, and its blindingly good on fuel! :wink:

im sorry too say it mate... but scrap it.... unless its exceptional condition it aint worth that.... mite get more money breaking it and selling the bits on flea-bay

Well all the quotes I've had are more than it's worth anyway so off it goes. Now all I have to do is get myself and my tools to Aldershot from Croydon every day. I think I may end up killing the green machine :|

spoke to mate of mine he can do it 4 £370 inc head skim,filters,fluids,gaskets,extra £20 if u want a new t/belt.

 

but it means getting it to bristol,if thats any help.

u cant use an osf as a daily hack thats sacrilidge especially in winter

 

we do it either the taunus or the 2.8gt i det picked up from skool in them go to shops places etc etc but my mother has her own car which i dont like

where's the car mate? i'm free this weekend after 2pm saturday. i can get the head skimmed. just have to sort out a day to put it back together

If its a 16v they are a proper mothers minge of a job... If it ever needs a turbo, walk away from it and watch it burn.

You'll need a locking pin set for timing up the ol pug, got one in my tool box if you want to borrow it!?

ben mate you worry too much 13mm bolt and a bit of paint. its all good :D

 

marty bring the van, i know i'll forget at least 4 important tools :wink:
