Think he has put his name down for the 1st trip to Santa Pod in April as part of the OSFDC, although I don't know if he has added his name for other rounds.

Unless he comes on here and answers you, have a look in the OSFDC room

He couldnt of picked a better day to do it, plenty of people there to see the 20 second run :ykt::lol::wink:
:lol::lol: 13.5sec would be ace and would be the fastest ever "comfy" , no bits missing , N.A. with no gas , street legal 4 pot run :ykt::thumbsup:

Be nice to see it do a good 13 second quarter mate, i know i would be putting some 175.50.13 AO48's on it though, still street legal and look good too 8):ykt::thumbsup:

That's what I'm running. They are bloody good, especially when 'warm' :ykt:

Yes i'm going to smoke the A539's away soon and get some A048's for sure Kev . I can only crawl of the line at low revs really so hoping to fly down the last 1/8 mile and make up some time when in 3rd and 4th gears . No point bothering with hard launches cos i have to drive it home afterwards

I'm saying nothing (and not going to speculate on my time) but am also running a "comfy" , no bits missing , N.A. (45's) with no gas , street legal 4 pot run.

Out of interest what BHP/torque figure did you record Gaz?

Yeah, seems to most of the time. Even gripped halfway through first the other day, after a little donuting to warm them up, dropped the clutch (don't know what revs, no tacho!) spun for a bit then gripped to the limiter.

nice one Billy , i have a tran-x gearbox with a 2.48 first gear and a 4:1 diff so do you reckon the tyres will be good enough to handle a few more revs off the line then or shall i just 2500 rpm granny start like i normally do ?

English axel, 4.44 group 4 quife LSD, modified quaife Atlas shafts and endplates. All done by the previous owner. I've not done one yet but then I haven't really launched it that often in the time I've owned it.

Ive got quaife 2.39 or 2.48 first i think cant remember exactly and used to have a 4:4 salisbury with standard shafts and launching off the line at 6000rpm spinning a little then hocking up and going how i never broke a shaft i dnt know. your engine maybe different to mine tho i find mine dnt pull hard until way up the rev range :ykt:

My engines not peaky is got lots of mid-range grunt so hoping it can pull from lowish revs ok but won't know until i've tried it up there really . I might fit a 4:4 and try that one time but won't unless i really have to because my motorway cruising speed will drop down :(

I've got 175/50/13 A539 yokos at present Steve . I've hammered the arse out of them on every trip out and they're pretty good to be honest , they grip in 3rd ok but smoke like crazy in 2nd but good fun and cheap :ykt: . My 1100 shafts have survived a fare bit of punishment so far and not broken so i'll keep trying !!!!!!!!
