Had some messers so far, from wanting to fit standard seats and back seats back in and standard wheels back on to full on resprays as it wasn't the colour they like and bidding me down on price as they have to pay for a colour change wtf! I like both, but i guess with a 50 profile you dont get any sidewall flex. Now there is 195.45.13 available, which i believe was on the silver Harrier owned by Dave, but those wheels were 8-8.5j wide. Back in the day i had 185.60.13 as im sure 175.50's wasnt available. Gotta love Firestone ditchfinders

Is it a mk1 or mk2 Darren? I have semi tubbed my inner arches to aid with clearance. Will it have rear discs? If its drums with Anglia axle then 7x15 should fit no probs with 195.45.15's. I would still tuck up the rear arch lips though. My brother has ET12's on his mk2. Mine are ET10's from west wales rally spares, i had to have 5mm shaved off the inside of the rears to make them sit in a bit.

I have them on mine too, i fitted them as i have Sierra intercooler and rad up front and needed to chop the chassis rails back a few inches, meaning the a.r.b mounts had to go. Usually if you fit compression struts your coil springs should be uprated by around 100lbs to compensate. If i could have kept the anti roll bar i would of fitted tension struts instead, a few people i know use them and say they are much better than compression struts. Each to their own i guess.

I have a customer who comes in my work with a Y reg XR3, the last carbed version off the production line, its in good condition in black. He also has the XR3 from the Ford heritage museum, the old one. Bit of a rare car nowadays.
