LEONMEX Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 I put an Ashley 4 branch single box system on my escy & had to heat & bend in a few places but wasnt to much of an arse to fit, + sounds the bolox with the single box. If you get stuck for clamps ive got loads & will chuck some in the post if need be.

Daveyboy20 Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Yeah the ashley systems are an absolute arse to fit, i never managed to silence the joins, they werent bed but when i put my head under the car at the side i could always hear a very slight "fffsss" kinda noise, i had the whole system off and back on 4 times in one week trying to get it to fit right, in the end i just realised that it wasnt gonna come off and it sounded class so didnt care! i got into the hait of turning my ignition off when in gear for a few seconds and igniting the fuel in my exhaust exploding balls of fire out the back to scare the shit outta people, eventually i think i blew some stuff out of the exhaust as it started to sound mad, i think it sounds really barkey and scarey now so im glad i did!!
samurai Posted November 10, 2006 Author Report Posted November 10, 2006 After todays work i still have not tryed to put the exhaust on or the carbs! but did drill 3 holes that need welding up now! (trying to put the red top fuel pump over the chassis! pffff) and i connected the braided fuel line to the tank to pump and now i need more to get to the engine bay area! 3 meters is not enough oh and i bolted in the battery tray in and connected some of the battery cables up and fitted the heater which i think does not work! Sort the wireing out tomor i think then add the carbs and im thinking of having a different exhaust manifold now....2 1/4inch 3 piece one
