broadspeed capri update and gathering for 2009

[ian cognito]

just a quick message for anyone out there owning or knowing of any surviving broadspeed capris..........next year being the 40th anniversary of the capri,,there are plans for a large mk 1 gathering,,,so it seemed a good idea to finally get as many survivng broadspeeds in the same place at one time,,venue to be decided later in the year,,but probably midway up the country to be central for owners..so far we have 8 cars already promising to be there,,so the search is on for the other owners...we know of a few more out there but not who owns them so anyone with information, please get in touch or let them know,,,as im old and grey and wont be around for the next 40th anniversary!!!

my own car has finally made it to the paintshop as planned and will be on the road at the end of march,,,even if theres a unknown one lurking in a barn somewhere,,bring it along,,we've got one arriving on a trailer already!!...so please get in touch, either with the capri mk 1 register or with me for the broadspeeds........... 07515 820453 cheers ian.c.
