Airbag Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 I'm thinking about getting a 3 point harness for my Capri, Obviously the two side belts can attach where the standard belt mounts are, but where can I mount the rear one? I still have a full interior! I was thinking about under the rear seat as no one sits in the back, how can i mount it? Obriously I want it to be secure.
Ratters Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 in your situation i would think between the rear seats esp if no-one sits in the back like you say.

radar tech Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 I'm ure someone asked this question before on here and the answer was yes , under the rear seasts but you have to put a 10mm metal plate in around the eye bolt area to strengthen the under seat panel. Don't quote me though, but it makes sense
bomber1 Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 wont the capri have rear belt points in about the right place for the center belt?
Ratters Posted March 2, 2008 Report Posted March 2, 2008 in your situation i would think between the rear seats esp if no-one sits in the back like you say. yeah thats what I ment. i guessed that. i was agreeing that's where i fitted mine just incase i ever wanted to put the back seat back in. i would say 10mm plate was a bit overkill too for a spreader plate
