Perywinkle Posted March 2, 2008 Report Posted March 2, 2008 As the MK Indy is still a few months away from completion. Picked it up friday arvo and took it for an MOT sat morning. Just a few bits and bobs for the retest and I can start playing with the engine Paintwork is dull, but otherwise the engine runs sweet (2.0 pinto) And best of all the shell is incredibly solid, tester commented on it. Couple of small blisters in the boot is all. Not bad for a 29 year old car Square lights will be changed for the round jobbies with grill to suit. Got some decambered single leaf rear springs to go on it and bilsteins to suit. need to get some lowering springs and 2.8 legs for the front. Then a stage 1 head and a fast road cam to get the power up a tad.
Perywinkle Posted March 2, 2008 Author Report Posted March 2, 2008 Probably too much lol 3.5 ish in the end
Perywinkle Posted March 2, 2008 Author Report Posted March 2, 2008 Aye tis solid as anything. It's an ausie import, so rs spec shell. Bit of tidying interior wise and a lick of paint and it will be mint
davemk2escort Posted March 2, 2008 Report Posted March 2, 2008 are you gonna change lights or keep them? any mods after resto?
Perywinkle Posted March 3, 2008 Author Report Posted March 3, 2008 Twin round headlights I think, then a stage 1 head and a fast road cam for now
Richierich Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 Looks nice, not too dear considering what people pay these days! Good luck with it
