should i buy mexico without seein it £1000

right then lads i have a bit of a sticky issue i bought a rs2000 engine the other day wen i went to pick it up i was astonished on how good the condition was and the guy said he had a mk2 mexico but he cant weld and it needs a lot of work and its at the other end of london in storage the guy was a really nice guy very genuine said i could take it for £1000 wi logbook but i havent seen it and theres no way i can so do i buy it and if i do and its bad can i earn my money back its got axle all glass seats that need re coverin and other bits of interior help and advice anyone cheers

Why can't you go and look at it? Nothing to stop you agreeing to his asking price subject to going to see the car.
