PaulAshman Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 Well having had the 1600 crossflow in for a while the next stages of development will be hapepning soon and I can't wait. Dropping the car into my local exhaust people later on to have my Ashley 4-2-1 manifold fitted and a complete single box system made and fitted. That should sound sweet. Today all the linkage, cables, gaskets etc arrived so the twin 40's are now ready to be fitted. Can't wait to hear the sound of screaming 40's singing round the streets of Swindon
sambo Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 Any idea yet how much the exhaust is going to cost mate? I need a good fitting system done on mine but cant afford the silly money that most places charge!
nelly231 Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 have you considered building a system? i bought a few universal bits from demon tweeks and i couldnt beleive how easy it was. excluding the silencer i think it was only about 50 or 60 pounds and thats in 2.5 inch.
PaulAshman Posted March 18, 2008 Author Report Posted March 18, 2008 Fitting my Ashley manifold and making me a complete stainless system in 2 1/4" pipe with one box and a rolled polished tailpipe is just under £200 which I thought was a pretty good price. Did think about doing it myself but having no real way of lifting the car up high and I didn't fancy lying under the car doing it!!! Can't wait to get the 40's on
