steve dray Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Been meaning to do this for a while!! Here are some pics of some of my old racers (not all OSF's though) mainly from the 80's. Sorry about the quality, but they are photo's of photo's!! First up, me at 14 years old with my first racer, a Vauxhall Viva!! In my first ever race, came 2nd Lasted a whole season in junior bangers saw lots of action me in the roll over contest went over 2 1/2 times! Mk 2 Cortina No 1 Next is a Cambridge Estate, (They were rare even in them days) After it's first outing (still straight!!) Went through some colour changes!! Mk1 Cortina, did some auto testing in this before it ended up like this Mk2 Cortina No2 Didn't last long this one, got mashed Went from bangers to 'Hot Rods' with this beauty pictured with my road car at the time This was a ripper, only had a 1600 pinto in it!! Went through some colour changes! then it ended up in the DD!! Me in a Marina Remember them?? Some pics of my mum, yep she had a go too!! Mk 2 Cortina (fresh) Then it ended up wiping out the fence!! which she was quite proud of!! Two cars I did some Auto testing in, Fiesta 1300 S, had to scrap it as the front end fell off!! And a Fiat Panda!! (you may laugh but it was quick!!) Finally the vehicle I learnt to drive in!! Most of these pics were taken at Combe Valley Raceway in Dover.
