trevoc Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Dropping the pinto into my mk1 in a min - would I be right in saying that the longer RS engine mount goes on the drivers side??
trevoc Posted April 4, 2008 Author Report Posted April 4, 2008 Thanks Baz.... Will update with pics in a while!! Alan G is lending me a helping hand - will have to start of a restop thread!

Posse Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Dropping the pinto into my mk1 in a min - would I be right in saying that the longer RS engine mount goes on the drivers side?? What manifold are you going to fit m8?
trevoc Posted April 4, 2008 Author Report Posted April 4, 2008 Your dead right, the black stuff is at it's highest quality here - ye should organise an OSF run to Ireland - and Baz the craic is mighty!! Anyway - we've the engine dropped in - and guess where we're caught - fooking sump - the previous pinto that was in it (previous owner) ran a steel sump so thought we could get away with it! It's fouling the crossmember, any way around this?? Posse, using a 2" 4 branch mate!
Posse Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Posse, using a 2" 4 branch mate! If its an ashley one m8 you will have to mod the engine mount ie cut the mother out of it .Also what rack have you got short stem or long?
