Admin Mk2Jo Posted November 14, 2006 Admin Report Posted November 14, 2006 .... put some sealant around my old bath and sink and I have come to the conclusion that I should stick to my office job It looks totally shite but hopefully it will keep the water from running down the walls in the kitchen when the kids are in the shower until I can afford to replace the bathroom suite and Marky4 is free to fit it for me Oh why do I start these jobs at 11.30 at night
Burns Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 hehe, lets it dry overnight jo, keep telling yourself that did you use the old wet finger round the edge trick?
Admin Mk2Jo Posted November 14, 2006 Author Admin Report Posted November 14, 2006 Yep, did the wet finger and the wet toilet paper (but it stuck and I had to pick the bits off lol), then when I put the paper down the loo it stuck to the pan and now I got sealant on the pan ... ...mate ... it went from bad to worse I hate being female sometimes .... talk about feckin useless

caprifan Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 ....why do you fill the bath with water ??
Twinkle Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 water and a person makes a lot of weight and the bath will sink slightly due to this, if you do it with out the weight in it the first time you have a bath the seal may be torn
