Im looking for a job for my placement year at uni and found a good one in leeds which was research and development for spine braces, hip joints and knee joints which i didnt get

 

they mentioned a possible job in Swtizerland for the year if i was interested so i thought id apply

 

i get a phone call this morning saying they want me to go to an interview in Swtizerland expenses paid! and i find out that it clashes with an exam

Explain this to them, you have nothing to loose. You won't go to the original interview they offered anyway, so you might as well see if a different date can be set. It's not like you can't make it cos you are going to have your hair done is it?

If your uni is anything like mines, a resit means you cant get any more than 40% for the exam cause its a second attempt!! Its silly really. Speak to your lecturers and see if you can get an exemption or a special factors consideration.

its sorted the other guy can't make it either so we are going in May after exams so the day after i get back ill be going to Portugal with the guys
