What do you guys find works? Im deciding which route to go down with my car. Im feelin capri 2.8 bilstiens and brake atm but i would like rs2000 ones... just dont know where to get em

I'm on 28 billies, but with standard master cylinder you have to push REAL hard. But they do work

I might be wrong but I think that RS2000 front struts and brakes are just 2 litre Capri ones. 2.8 Bilsteins are normally loads of money. 2.8 Front brakes just use vented disc instead of solid ones. You can get spacer kits to widen your standard caliper to take 2.8 discs (thats all ford did).

 

I use to run 145Lb springs on standard 1300 front legs on the escort. Now got 2.8 legs purely because they were the right price. I personally dont think the car handles that much differently with the capri setup.

2.8 billies are better than mk2 rs2000 legs because of the inserts,as for brakes budget go for vented 2.8 caliper and discs

yeah but u can buy the inserts for the rs2k legs cant you?

yeah you can still get inserts for all of them all bud, i reckon the 2.8 front setup will be best on a budget depending what you need them to do

the 2.8i billies are upside down so the unsprung weight will be less
