Tom Posted May 4, 2008 Author Report Posted May 4, 2008 Started off in long crendon for the shooting (i'd deffo live round there) Then went into Bicester village for some cheap(ish) shopping but it was fooking busy!!! I forgot you were from round that way timbo
bmxdave Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 I have a thing for guns but ive never had the opportunity to have ago other then air rifles and such. Ive been told theres a place near Aintree that you can go to to have a go, maybe one day ill make a visit
tim Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 oo lucky you bicester village on a bank holiday weekend lol
Tom Posted May 4, 2008 Author Report Posted May 4, 2008 Yeah tell me about it! all i got was a t-shirt!! Mate the place i went to was 55 quid for 2 hours and 50-60 shots with a 12 bore. very good value i thought
badchild Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 Yeah my da keeps guns and i take them out ocaisonally, the shotguns good but i prefer the rifle tbh, there would be more game for the shotgun where i live though and my da also breeds pheasants to release into the wild as well, i was thinking of going for the licsense myself but its queit difficult in NI
ZetecVan 2.0 Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 We did it in Cork on my mates stag do. First time I'd done it and loved it. Deffo want to do it again. The final round was a rabbit and bird shoot. The trap fires a clay 'rabbit' that goes along the ground, and a pigeon out, at the same time. You have to shoot the rabbit then the bird. I managed to get them both three times out of five. I was well pleased

5hane Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 had the opportunity to have ago other then air rifles and such. i killed a quailty street tin with a brick in it real good with an air rifle and i shot an air pistol into my m8s lemonade, without any pelles/ bullets in it, and it covered him .... btw has any one else shot them selfs in the foot with a paint ball gun ?
Tom Posted May 4, 2008 Author Report Posted May 4, 2008 not ruined it glyn, just proven once again that you are petty and childish. anyway i used to mess about with air rifles/pistols etc when i was youger but had to stop as mum was fed up with the police bringing me home Am more sensible with anything like that now
X-pack-Glyn Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 not ruined it glyn, just proven once again that you are petty and childish. Im sorry you find it childish and petty that i used a 410 bolt, but a 12 guage at 13 years old would be a bit much i think dont you, the 410 was just right, but still had wicked kick back on it. me dad got me one of them foam things you stuck on the but. blimey, you cant give a 13 yr old a 12 bore if you are just learning you prob best using a 20 guage.
Tom Posted May 4, 2008 Author Report Posted May 4, 2008 Don't twist my words Glyn. You're still upset about the first time i told you and still drag it up. grow up
Trevmk3 Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 i know fook all about guns and shooting the only thing i do know is that when my mate used to go shooting he got bored and shot himself in the foot whilst sat down (idiot ) think that was an air rifle, he carried on shooting for another couple of hours though
X-pack-Glyn Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 Tom, honestly, i dont think you are grown up enough for a 12 bore, go for the 20.... most 20's are nice well ballanced guns. the only prob is getting the cartridges, not as common as the 12. i was fishing a few weeks ago and copped a load of buckshot from the farmers 12 bore, he didnt realise i was behind the hedge fishing whilst he was taking shots at rabbits.
ZetecVan 2.0 Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 Tom. Glyn. TIME OUT. Or I'll send you to the naughty step for a week. (ie: temporary ban).
Tom Posted May 4, 2008 Author Report Posted May 4, 2008 yet another of my posts where admin has had to step in on night all
Mr Sam Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 got 3 shot guns and an air rifle first time i used the shotgun it bout took my shoulder off shooting cans of coke (shaken up) at 10 yards is funny
Tom Posted May 5, 2008 Author Report Posted May 5, 2008 Yeah Rosh was a bit scared of the first shot and almost let go of it! That one bruised her but she was fine with the rest
